Re: show me your seats!
@Marin97 You have a Caddy 4 life, right? In this case any of those seats will bolt straight in and then it's just a matter of swapping over the plugs for airbags and heating. Or guys here can make you adapter looms to plug them straight in.
For the rear a retrim of existing seats is your only nice option. Or you can keep them as they are if you put similar colour scheme ones up front.

Re: show me your seats!
Thanks @Giddy @Lister79
I was hoping to put in back seats tho
Yes i have Caddy 2017 mk4 Van or Life, so yes i have back seats already,
Curious about those front seats, when i make swap will airbags and heating work, or u use loom to dicieve car that everything is okay?
Okay let me rephrase, what is loom? just connectors or smt else?
I was thinking of making seat covers then, in sky(leather) / alcantara or smt as number 2 in upper links in original post.

Re: show me your seats!
Marin97 Seat looms are a length of wire to convert from your seat plugs to the seat plugs on your new seats. If your seats are already heated them it will be just a matter of fitting new seats. Plug in your looms and they may need coding but I suspect they should just work. As said your best option for rear seats would be the have yours recovered to match your new front seats. The rear seat from a Golf wouldn’t be easy to fit as you would need some new frame to sit them on and they would need supported at the sides. They just wouldn’t look nice. If you find new leather front seats then you could have your rear seats covered in leather.

Re: show me your seats!
Everything will work if you wire them in correctly. You have to look under the seats and copy/transfer your Caddy seat wiring to the Golf seats. Easy to do, but if wiring is your worst nightmare, then maybe get some adapter looms (wires).
Rear heated seats are also possible, @Lister79 has done it in his van, check his build thread

If your van is MK4 then all you would probably need is converter looms.
You would be best speaking to tommyzooom or stan-the-man as these guys are the loom wizards and will advise better regarding looms and heated seat module. You won’t need new controls. Yours will be fine

Re: show me your seats!
Some great ideas in here, now to decide if I go touran bases and seats or go for audi a1 seats and caddy bases. Do the touran bases sit lower than the caddy bases is that correct? Just trying to work out as I am quite tall.

Re: show me your seats!
I think ill go for seat covers, cuse cheaper and easier to setup and washable and still good loking and feeling.Giddy wrote:@Marin97 You have a Caddy 4 life, right? Anyways if i decide to go for a retrim ill try to put in seat heaters in back seats up and down as my front have them, find set of oem buttons to put in back of handrest console.
Thanks for advices!!

No Touran bases sit higher. I run Touran bases with Mk7.5 Golf R seats and at nearly six foot they are good for me but I guess it’s personal preference. It’s not hard to drill your own bases if you wish to sit lower and run Audi A1 seats.

So many good ideas in this thread. I've always loved the Scirocco seats. Good to see they're fairly easy to slot in!

Re: show me your seats!
Hi all. Forgive my ignorance please, but I would like to know if it is possible
to install heated seats from any vehicle deemed suitable to a Caddy say 2010 onwards and have them
work from the dash as factory fitted ones would using the factory fit switches.
If not, which is the most realistic way forward please ?
Thanks Duncan.

They’re on Caddy bases mate. Bit of messing about to get them on though.
