Hi,
In light of the recent snow we've been having, I've ordered my new Caddy with the 'all weather' tyre option. Can anyone tell me what tyres VW fit for this option, and indeed what tyre it replaces? The charge is an extra £100, and would like some info as to whether this is a good deal or not?
Thanks!

Re: 'All weather' tyres
My 08 caddy came with bridgestone tyres that are reasonable in the snow, when your caddy arrives it will probably be a tropical 7 degrees, which will eat your winter tyres

Yes, but the answer was a bit vague as the expected delivery date is next year. What I'd like to know, from folk that ordered the upgrade, was it full winter spec tyres that were fitted, as in tommyzooom's case (tyre compound that is designed to work under 7 degrees celcius) or something else?
