Aftermarket armrests

Post by carkeys »

I've been searching the net for different armrests to fit a caddy 4. Ideally the touran center console/armrest would be the way to go but are there any cheaper/easier to fit ones that would also look the part? Maybe add one(or two) to the driver seat? Photos would be welcome and appreciated.. :)

I have an armster one in mine. I'll get some pics tomorrow but it's great, really strong and comfy too

Mine is a 2011 and it fits perfectly. A friend went and bought one for his 2016 van and again, fit is perfect

This is an eBay special, it was about £25 including postage, I've had it for about 2 years now and it's still going strong. I have changed a couple of the fixing screws to bigger ones to make it a bit stronger.Image

Carkeys, Sirus autos will fit it for you if you don't have the bulkhead in. But if you do it takes about four hours, it isn't hard to do i did mine last weekend. The centre console was a brand new Mk4 one for £50. They had plenty in, give them a shout you'll be glad you did.

Shame, I'm over in Ireland bud.
I wouldn't mind fitting it myself it's just getting my hands on one.
You reckon that crowds selling them brand new for £50??...as in a mk4 touran center console?

I have this one, works great and its fitted in the cupholder.
It's screws down in the bottom of the cupholder but i didn't want to drill new holes in the cupholder so i drilled new holes in the armrest instead so i could use the original holes for the centerconsole.

What about armrests for the actual seat though - or would you have to buy Transporter seats?

Sorry for the late reply Carkeys, Yes that was the price i was charged. Obviously if they have to send it it would be plus p+p, but they are brand new out of Mk4 caddy lifes. If you could get one from Vw, i tried they were telling me prices of £ 300 plus.
