Caddy 4 Traction Control

Post by DJOHALL »

Has anyone found a way to disable this yet? Since I got my caddy remapped it simply hopeless when taking off, especially in the wet. It's cuts in a way too early and leaves u sitting there with no power!

Yes I know it's a van and not a top fuel dragster but it's just a real annoyance!!

the remapper if he writes the software himself completely knows how to change that as well

(most buy a file and only know to press enter and collect your money)

I'm still baffled as to why they did away with the button on the Mk4.

At a guess, knowing VW, to save cost.

Does anyone know if the loom is behind the switch panel to install a switch?

No joy on this I'm afraid. I have seen some new Caddys for sale here in Ireland with a traction control button in the centre console beside the stop start button. Honestly seems like more work than it's worth unless your a coding and electronics expert.

Is here no one else with a remapped MK4 that hates that he cant put traction control off? This traction control triggered me so hard again today. Anyone know where to plug in wires or Something? Really need to do this
