Caddy Swivel Seats

Hey,

I know this has been posted here a few times but I just wanted to run my idea past you guys and see if anyone thinks it'd work, or if anyone has done something similar.

I can't stomach the cost of the caddy swivel seats, especially when you can get the transporter ones for £140-ish. So I'm thinking about removing the centre console on the caddy and the trim around the passenger seat and fitting the swivel base for a Transporter. A couple of things I'm not sure about: Will the holes line up between the base and the seat? Do you think without the centre console there will be room for the seat to swivel?

Has anyone attempted anything like this before?

Won't work, as I don't believe Caddy has enough room for the chair to swivel in, even without center console.
