Hi I'm just trying to finish install fog light harness kit. Can you help with final connections. I'm at the stage where I just need to connect the last to wires from the harness to the new auto switch that came with harness.
I think the ready made blue wire fits in pin 5 not sure the unmade black from the harness should go

Hi, Welcome to the forum.
On aftermarket looms/harnesses the ground/earth wire is usually black in colour.
Pin position 5, from memory, is correct for the fog light output from the light switch.

Thanks for the info,
that's blue wire sorted to pin 5.
I'm still confused with unmade black wire that comes through the fire wall with the blue ! Not sure where it should connect ?.
There is a black wire (ground/earth) on the harness in engine bay, which I have attached .

Just finished the install, the black wire coming through the fire wall with the blue trigger wire was another ground. All working.
Next thing is to lower and a new set of wheels.

Re: Touran Fog lights Help
So I've just installed a Chinese special fog light set. I've got the two bulb connections, a black and red spade connection (assume this goes to + / - on the battery and a red wire. Where does the red wire go? I've upgraded the switch so it's now an auto lights unit (so has fog on it).
Any help greatly received!

I'm afraid, it's nearly impossible to know what you have there. Do you have any instructions that came with the kit?
This may help though, once you have an access https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=45088

Re: Touran Fog lights Help
So it looks pretty much exactly like this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-MK6- ... 890.l49286
Only difference is a red rather than grey. So looks like it needs to to into number 5 on the headlight switch. Question is, is there an easy place to run the cable through the firewall?
