Pretty sure the sharing of Brake and Rear-Fog is not allowed under UK regs ?
States Brake and Fog must be at least 100mm apart !

Regs
- Rear fog lamps may be combined with the rear position lamps.
- Fog lights must be at least 100mm from any brake light.

The Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989
SCHEDULE 11
PART I
2. Position
(d) Minimum separation distance between a rear fog lamp and a stop lamp–
– (ii) In the case of a rear fog lamp which shares a common lamp body with a stop lamp:
100 mm

I don't live in the UK, we don't have a legal requirement to even have a fog light in South Africa. I made disclaimer "works for me". Anyone doing this in the UK can make their own decisions, as to whether they want to switch around a tail light once a year for MOT. ;)

Yeah, just making it clear for UK owners, then it is up to the individual as you say.

I'm interested in this article, I'll stay here to see if I get access and I can see the modifications.
