1K0907379Q is mk60 and works on white devices ... does not need to change the wiring ... Everything is working correctly, just pis a steering error J500 ... Has no influence ... on VW Touran ... rns510 i did not try

Hi looking for information regarding abs as looking to update cluster.

Are there any limitations on the age of cluster you can retrofit? If I install aforementioned abs pump all should be good for compatibility with newer style cluster is that correct?

Doc wrote:The 1K0-907-379AF is a mk70 MABS with ASR.
This is the only mk70 which suits the caddy as all other mk70 MABS units have ESP and requires extra sensors for yaw.
The other option is to upgrade to a mk60EC1.
so in this Doc is the link pin swap still needed or just swap and code tia

Why oh why are you posting information from the mk5 golf forum on here? That is only causing you and potentially others a lot of confusion! mk5 golf modules do not work on the caddy unless you add extra sensors, the link wires details in your mk5 golf forum screenshot are not relevant to the caddy.

The upgrade to the mk70MABS module suited to the caddy, part number 1K0-907-379AF will need the link wire in positions 15 & 22 as has been very well detailed on this forum.
Once the ABS module is fitted, with the correct link wire location, it will require the correct coding and then the basic settings performed.

Can I just revive this thread a little…. I am doing a white cluster swap haven't done one for a few years myself….. the caddy is fitted with an abs pump no 2K0 614 117 A (mechanical part) 2K0 907 379 A (electrical module) it’s a MABS unit. Can we confirm
If this works or do I need the 1K0 907 379 AF unit? And link loop should be connected between pins 22 and 19? Thanks in advance
