How much should I have my caddy lowered on 225/40/18’s? Has anyone got photos of 40mm vs 60mm etc? Thanks in advance

You can go quite low buddy. Set what you think. Drive round the block so the suspension settles a bit. Check again. It only takes a few mins to raise or lower it if your using a ramp.

lowered on 60mm H&R springs and axle flip kit. Handles much better especially the wallowing on the motorway in strong winds. £500 all in Total cost. Well Chuffed. Also Running 225/40/18's

sorry for the post hijack. This pic isn't in Skullys build thread. Skully did you have the roof sprayed or is that also vinyl like the side panels I've been thinking of doing the same to mine.

Hi Skully,

The van is looking sweet!

May I know where did you manage to get your flip kit in SA from?

Thanks.

Got it from IS Motorsport. They are JOM agents here in SA.

Nice ride @Skully, the black looks great, I do get jealous of the two tone multivans around the place. Does it get hotter in the sun? Mine has gone the other way with a suspension lift and now looking for tall A/T tyres. Just a quick question about the axle flip, I know that it lowers the car it does it also give you more Axle clearance (other than where the springs bolt on)?

Will post some pics when I work out how!

Hi all

Would lowering an ex British gas be harder due to the rear end being higher than a standard caddy.
