As above guys been on motorway today and my temp Gauge does not go past 70 seems to run fine though scanned with vcds on codes or any thing just swapped to touran bumper didn't no if it was cooling down quicker with bigger cut outs in bumper

Possibly a failed thermostat that's stuck open and allowing full flow to the radiator.
70°C on the instrument cluster is only around 50°C in the coolant so not really ideal to run your engine that cool.

Right is there more than one thermostat on it doc and any ideas on where it might be 06 plate tdi
