I went into the back of someone who then drove off. I didn't get their details
it left some damage to the front bumper, mainly cracked paint, but it doesnt seem to want to clip back in fully, and looks almost like bonnet is closer to one wing than the other now.
any ideas on how much this might cost t repair? or should I just go through insurance? any idea how much it's going to affect my premium?

Any chance you can get some pictures and put them up. I recon the bumper May have Un clipped at the side of the bumper bracket. If it’s that then that’s a cheap repair. Paint depends if it’s a smart repair or bodyshop.

I'll have to get some better pics, these show it but not wonderfully clearly. It's like spider cracks. The bumper pushes back in but doesn't seem to want to stay in, plus paint crack on the other side of the bumper you can see in last pic

Undo the bolts which hold the grill onto the front panel under the bonnet. It looks like it’s pushed the grill up. Undoing those bolts might release the tension and allow you to clip the sides of the bumper back in. Then if it clips back in, do the grill bolts back up.

Can’t see the paint. But if it’s just a small crazing. You can probably smart repair it.
