My 2014 caddy never had them fitted when I got it, if I fit some OEM ones, are they easy to wire in? and would they need codeing in?, my light switch in the cab has the symbol for front and rear fogs on it.

They are very easy to wire in, with the oem fog light loom.
I even make one....HERE
With this they are wired as from factory, and once coded, will show up bulb out warnings on dash etc, and can be further coded for cornering fogs too.
The problem may be that your BCM may not support fogs, you'll need to check that first. Try and get the part No. of it.

Do you know the correct part number for the BCM that supports fog lights etc?

There are a few. It generally needs to be a midline one or higher.
You need to replace with a Caddy specific one though. Ones from other VW's, even with the same part no. differ internally. This makes them scarce. (and why there is little information on them)
Best to see what you have first. Get the part No. ( mine for example is 5K0 937 086 S)
Even better disconnect the battery, remove the BCM, and check if it physically has any pins in T52a/25 (where the black plug goes, pin 25) and T52c/25 (where the brown plug goes, pin 25).
If you have vcds, you can also try coding for fogs, see if it accepts the coding

Same platform, equally complicated. You can see the BCM part number in the autoscan (VCDS). Who knows what your reader is, but you should be able to see it somewhere in the readouts for BCM (Central Electrics 09).

Hi guys,
I have only rear fog light and want to install OEM front fog lights. I have chcecked via VCDS and I have been able to activate front fog lights in CBM module 5K0 937 085 R. After activating th fault codes for missing bulbs shows up. A did not check physically, whether the pins are on the unit.
I would like to ask you whether my CBM unit supports front fog lights.
I saw some images of pins of this CBM on the Google and it looks like the pins 25 are missing.

Thanks for the help.

VW Caddy 2013 CAYD.

Can someone tell me where the bcm is located on the mk4 caddy please as I would also be interested in fitting front fog lights.

Pretty sure (?) it's the thing with 3 big plugs, black, grey, fawn, just above the fuse board

I did a photo of the BCM today, it is on the picture.
Could someone help me whether this unit has pins for front fog lights? As I wrote before, activation via VCDS works and fault codes was there that bulb is missing.ImageImageImage

5ko937085r is missing the pins 25 mate... on a short google pictures ypu can spot that.
You'll need ...086 or ...087 mid or high level for fog lights.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I will look at the pinout and let know whether this unit supports the fog lihts.
I have been apso looking at the google pictures and saw that pins are missing. It looks like the firmware is the same for more units, but there are hardware differencies.
