Fitting dual climate from touran
Hi I'm fairly new starting to do a caddy build ,I've got a/c in my van but want to fit dual zone climate, I have everything I think as I removed from a touran realise it means changing heater box and dash but just wondering how people have wired it in with changing the whole loom CAN anyone help please ?

Re: Fitting dual climate from touran
Hi @Wrcpulsar welcome to the forum.
Changing the climate control will involve some wiring changes but it's certainly not something I'd class as a "whole loom change".
The pinouts are on the forum, in the relevant sections which you won't have access to with only two posts.
Once you meet the criteria for extended access and make the appropriate upgrade request, the information will become apparent.

Re: Fitting dual climate from touran
Ive done this to my van. Start by taking the whole dash out, the alloy crash beam behind it which is a fiddly bastard with all the various clips and wiring attached to it as well as the steering column. Then go under the bonnet, take of the wipers and motor and on the drivers side is a 13mm bolt, take this out and then disconnect the aircon pipes and the water pipes to the bulkhead and only then, can you then wrestle the old heater box out.

There's good information in this thread for the wiring and what modifications are required.

Re: Fitting dual climate from touran
Im looking at starting this, and I'm guessing that dual climate is the same as climatronic ?
When installing the can wires do they tap into some nearby or go direct to the gateway ?
