I have fitted the Touran twin headlights (aka Edition 30) in my 2014 and confirm that I had to code them to work properly i.e. low beam stay on with high beam, I think I used Torpas guide
They are well worth fitting and make a massive difference, especially if you upgrade the bulbs as well
It’s worth pointing out that some of the mounting bolts were rusty on mine so I’d pick up some new ones

Edition 30 twin halogen headlights
LH - 1T2-941-005-H - c/w bulbs
RH - 1T2-941-006-H - c/w bulbs
Screw x4 - N-106-444-03

Another option is to have some custom built to your own spec. Mine were done by a company called EM tuning.

Came to just shy of a grand, the light output is superb on them.
