Hi all,
I am new to the caddy scene and looking for some advise on installing rear parking camera on my caddy maxi 67 Reg highline? How easy are they to install and been reading about the unit needing coding to the radio unit?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

I'd like to know too! I have a 68 Maxi Highline and a rear camera would be nice as its all the bells and whistles complete for me then!

If you guys both have the headunits ready to go it’s not a tricky task. It’s just a case of cutting the camera into the door at the back and then chasing the wires back to the head unit.
The cameras often come with the hole saw to cut it into the correct location then it’s feed the wire back through the door. Into the rear of the van along the headliner. Down the side of the bulkhead and through into the centre console

Thanks for the reply.
Is there any sort of camera in particular that needs to be used? Or are they fairly universal? Is any particular make or model preferable?

I ordered one from Aliexpress £15, works fine, Replaces number plate light housing.
I had to remove panel on door and rear light cluster to feed cable through, then run cable under wooden floor to centre console.
Halfords do one for £100, and £70 to fit.
But as everything is made in China anyway I thought for sake of £15 i'd give it ago myself, more than happy with it.
Picture quality is fine, stereo goes to parking sensor display when put in reverse icon for camera, press that it switches to camera view

I have 2 din android player with build-in Canbus and same camera with 4 LEDs works perfect . But my camera is wi-fi and it's much easy to wire it.
I bought everything from china.
