How to tell what 1.9 TDI engine a caddy has

I believe there are two types of 1.9tdi engines fitted to the caddy's?
Which is the better one to get and which to avoid?
If I'm correct how can you tell what is installed in what vehicle?

Hi, inside the cabin there is a internal fuse box cover as you look at the end of the dashboard when you open the drivers door.
On the other side of this cover is the build slip with codes to your van stating everything it as.



This is my one from my 2008 caddy.

Thanks is there any way of telling from vehicle registration or online check? Just thinking before I travel 100 add miles to view one I'd like to know.

I’m not sure mate, you could ask the seller to look at the inside the plastic cover I have showed you to confirm engine code.
