I don't know if you guys are familiar with the wheelchair adapted Caddys but we've been looking for a used one for my dad but the couple we've seen so far we've not been able to open the side sliding door on the driver's side. One seller says this is normal for the adapted versions. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed normal and if so are they welded shut or can they be returned back to normal. Both vans we were looking at were 2013 model year.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Caddy WAV side doors
Hi Neil,
I've got a 61 plate Wav. When I bought it, everyone the dealer had was accessable from both side doors (up to 64 plate). This was in 2016, maybe the requirement/ legistlation has changed for WAVs. It would be worth calling another trader to pick their brains.

Re: Caddy WAV side doors
Hello, I can open both sliding doors on my Caddy Maxi, I buy it from Germany. I saw other Caddys from 2011 to 2014 with both doors opened. I think you can get it open with help of some technician.
