I’ve done this conversion buddy if you want to have a look, its not exactly a build thread but gives you an idea. I did most of the work myself so not sure of cost. Took me good part of a week to do, a day and a half for engine swap and my mate helped with wiring which took around 3 then a day for fabricating/adapting the Miltek exhaust to fit. Engine is coming out now literally as we speak and upgrading to R36 engine with dsg box from Passat ... yes glutton for punishment!
