Well, you all know me by now and I couldn't leave it 'standard' so here's a version on air suspension with some big wheels (I reckon we're going to be fitting 21s to this platform!), widened arches, smaller door mirrors, and a few 'clubsport' parts.

Vented arches, clubsport spoiler, big wheels, it's a YES from me.

Dan, if you just take a job with VW, these things could all be standard and you’d save us the hassle
Nice work as always mate. I wonder who the first person on the forum to order one will be?

Reminds me of a Dacia Dokker.

I know it’s still partially disguised but what I see in those photos is an abysmal looking monstrosity. of a car by VW standards

I’m not keen myself. But then change can sometimes take a while to grow on people.
I suppose once it was modded, it would look a lot better. I think colour coding those bumpers will be even more essential on this one than the current model.
I wonder how interchangeable parts will be with other VAG models? This has been developed in conjunction with Ford I believe? There may be Ford bits that could be interchangeable also.

Sorry but I have looked up some Dacia Dokker photos... and with the new photos my conclusion is that it looks like a redesigned Dacia.

I hate the lines where the bumpers connect but hopefully once colour coded they will be lost, I really really hate how the window graphics don't line up along the bottom edge but not a problem as I wouldn't get a Life anyway, and I'm still not sold on the rear lights being as long as they are, gone are the days of buying a replacement for under £100. Still, I'm holding out for it to look better in the flesh once all the camo has gone and its not poverty spec. Saying that, I'm not keen on VWs new design direction looking at the MK8 Golf.

I think it's got plenty of potential, those arches for one.
Looks like the life doesn't get a side rail cover this time, that'll be a opportunity for someone.
