late spec rear lights reverse illumination

Hi and happy xmas everyone, i have some late spec rear lights for my 64 plate caddy and was wondering if there was much illumination difference going from 2 to 1 regarding the reverse light or is the later spec a brighter bulb etc, thanks.

I went from two new spec rear lights with reverse lights (one RHD, one LHD) to one, and haven't really noticed a difference. I think the new lights have a reflector with a wider field of view (and no diffuser). I expect the bulbs would be the same/similar.

Great, thanks for that, was a little concerned about the light just one would give but i think the design etc makes it work.

I put led reverse lights in mine.... Much better

How did you get around the warning light in the display after fitting the led reverse?

I've just gone from a 2009 to a 2018. I presume my old van had reverse lights both sides. My new one just has the one on the passenger side. If I want to reverse parallel with the kerb on the drivers side, I literally can't see anything of the kerb at all. It's useless.
