Mk5 steering wheel into 2012 mk6

Hi all. I have just been offered a really good condition non MSFW from a mk5 Golf GTI. I did see another post about Mk5 steering wheels into a Mk6. I have limited access as I am a new member. My query is do I need anything besides the airbag and wheel. Will the existing loom plug in and will the horn work. I prefer non MFSW for the look. I know non MFSW Scirocco wheels fit my bag but I don't think they look as sleek or streamlined. Opinions? PFA. TIA

So far as i know, The airbag connector of a golf 5 is different than the golf 6.

I have put a Mk7 Golf mfsw in my 2011 caddy and the air bag connected was the same and the horn worked.
