Mobility scooter hoist

Hi all
I’m disabled and currently considering installing a wheelchair / scooter hoist. It’s nearly £2,000 new but i actually have chance of a used one for a few quid. I’m handy at fabricating but just wanted to see if anyone had installed one? It is to be located in the off-side rear corner. I will have to drill the floor in a couple of locations but wanted to do my research first.
