Hi I just wondered what battery you recommend for a 2014 2.0tdi 140?
It only just started this morning.

A Bosch S5008 or Varta E44 battery would be my choice. Expect to pay between £80.00 - £95.00. Try battery megastore website.

I just put a Yausa in mine from Halfords. 770A, £94 using a trade card and a 5 year guarentee. Massive improvement over the 400A Skoda Yeti battery the previous owner had put in it. Lasted me a year though before I got tired of having to jump it after the doors had been open for 20min while working on it!

I am looking at these....worth the price premium??

And did you need a battery box to fit it?

So far so good! Starts with ease even in the minus temps. It dropped straight into the standard battery tray. Just unbolt the 13mm base clamp on the left, remove the old battery and fit the new one.
