Someone is going to really go at one of these and I'm going to want one. It's slowly growing on me.

I agree, it looks good on that pic. Any vehicle with nice wheels, aggressive bumpers and lowered will look miles better.

These new caddy look great. The cabin looks fresh and tidy with some nice tech bits for those techies.
Prices are a bit steep but 90% of these would more than likely be business fleet leases I suppose.
Love the look of that dark grey maxi one earlier on plus the chaps metallic red one on here.

As with most new cars I think they will be easier to look at in time, there are some design ques on there that don't fit in with the VAG scene style, but not forgetting this is designed as a working vehicle it's still leagues above from the offerings of most other marques.

Side profile looks a little odd on the rear to me and I would agree the front bumper lower grill areas looks rushed and odd, but... I think the rear with a spoiler will look much better, which I'm sure won't be long until produced if not already.... Plus, we all know it won't be long until we see bumper swaps on one and everyone will be swooning over them like the rest.

I'm more of an older car fan, but can apperciate where this one sits.

Just spotted a post from Darkside Developments, they've managed 197.7bhp and 450Nm.
These new motors tune well.
I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Blimey 450nm, that's 30 less than my stock rs3. Fantastic gains

When are they going to lower it  Holy arch gap Batman  Even after a 70mm drop it looks like its only had lowering springs. Is water in the top hats a common Caddy problem then? They imply it is but on a brand new van thats ridiculous.

I don’t mind the ride height on my caddy. It has to go down farm tracks and all sorts of weird and wonderful places, it’s far better then the Mk4 caddy I had and far better the the fraud connect

Saw my first MK5 in the flesh last night, it was a Thrifty Van hire one on the M2 in Kent near Faversham. Sorry, and I know this has been done to death, but it’s pig ugly. 😢 I can’t describe the feeling, hoping a few of you do, but I tend to quickly look at all the Caddy vans I pass on the road, whether modified or not, and always find them well ? sort of attractive vehicles? does that make sense, or sound a bit weird 🤔😂
Looking on this thread, starting to see a few pictures of them modded lowered etc, and thinking 🤔 maybe, perhaps maybe, but this one a 21 plate in grey, just didn’t give me that feeling that I can’t describe.
I’m going to try and keep an open mind, we’re a VW family, but when our 2012 MK3 eventually needs replacement, at this moment in time the Caddy will not be on my list 🥲

Saw a lovely pickup yesterday, got me wondering what a mk5 pickup may look like then I remembered that front grille.
I wonder if mk4 bumpers would go on a mk5 :P
