Cheap easy mods

Post by Tonksy26 »

ImageI’m new to owning a caddy van. I’ve got a few ideas but is there any cheap and easy mods that people recommend to get me started?

Hi mate, yeah there’s a few things you can do that are cheap and easy. Alloy vent rings, EBay, £20. VW stickers too, not much. LED bulbs. New gear lever/gaiter. The worlds your oyster, and eBay is your friend

Don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for bargains too. Some fellas have bought seats for £20 unfortunately, I wasn’t one of them

Meh love and hate, especially when they know that constant notifications make you buy everything in your watch list one by one lol

It would be extra helpful if you could advise on the year of your Caddy & more so if you could confirm the trim level ie. Startline, Trendline or Highline. However, assuming a pre-2015 model as Swan Fiend stated, the alloy trim rings for the heater vents are an excellent internal upgrade at 20.00. Silver handbrake push buttons are available on eBay quite cheaply as well. How about some new rubber floor mats edged in a contrasting colour to your van. I bought some for my wife's Golf recently & a simple to please woman, she is tickled pink with them! Outlay, around 25.00 delivered. Externally a pair of wind deflectors for the front doors not only look cool but serve a useful purpose to keeping rain out when the window is slightly open as well as glare from the sun. At the end of the day & as I thought when I bought my Maxi in April 2018, cheap & easy mods would satisfy my wishes but there is really no such thing. The boys & girls on here are totally responsible for my lightweight wallet! Good luck buddy!

How about a Vanstyle stone guard ? £42.99 posted from eBlag, and is cheaper that their website !! :?
I know alot of people don't like them, but I seem to think the Caddy is a stone magnet
so I put on on our old 2012 1.6, and I've just ordered, one for my 2018 Caddy Maxi
Obviously photo is for a 2010-15
