Hi there.
I got a rear badge that im going to paint.
I was just going to sand down the chrome until i saw a video on removing chrome from plastic trim using bleach..
Some other videos say oven cleaner can do the same trick.
Just wondering if anyone else on here has tried it?
Check this guy doing it.

Re: Bleaching chrome trim
I sprayed mine at the weekend. I just cleaned the badge and hit it with plastic primer followed my high build primer and it turned out fine. No need to bleach it

Cheers for reply guys.
I got the paint from vw.2 tins which is base paint and lacquer.
The colour is pure grey.
How would you guys suggest i lay down the layers after sanding and priming.
