Rear light tint removal

Post by Mr. T »

Hi,

Is there anyway I can remove the tints on my rear lights or is it a case or replacing them with standard ones?

ThanksImage

I’d try thinners first. If that doesn’t work. Sand it back and polish them up

Find a small test section to see if the thinners messes up the plastic. I believe it will. Another option is to get one of those kits for polishing out cloudy headlight lenses.

Thanks both for your help. I have thinners and a headlight restore kit so I'll give them a try

Try paint strippers,if you can get a solvent based one they are usually better, but getting more difficult due to environmental reasons
