Unless your sat nav is wonky, you’ll not be near us so I think I’m safe to carry on looking
Also I’m after a different cover but haven’t found any vow covers of any variety yet

Re: Let the build begin
Spare BLS covers???
Do you have one going spare that she is happy to part with?
I have bought two so far, first was just too knackered to fix, and said Audi, the second doesn't have the foam/padding underneath.
They can be found, they just take time to hunt down
Where these local scrappys, sounds like you have a gold mine or two
Cheers

belv last one is provisionally sold and I’ll never reveal my source(s)
I hunted for months for the first one and then like buses, they all came along at once

Re: Let the build begin
It’s a lovely trip out
I’m going many more times until I find all the bits I need, and then probably more

Let the build begin
Fitted my genuine VW screw driver that I picked up on my scrapyard trip yesterday into the wheel key...
And fitted the Golf+ interior lights and glasses holder to the overhead shelf followed by some silver 4 way stretch carpet
Spare shelf marked up and cutting started, stopped part way through to stem the blood coming from my thumb after catching it on the Dremel blade, ouch...
Test fit before bonding the frame on and blank made and bonded in
4 way stretch carpet on
Wire (and spare wires) pulled through the dreaded A pillar for the red courtesy LED’s. They even dim with the dash dimmer switch, thanks to the “Passat W8 interior light mod how too”on here
Wired up, tested and fitted back into the van, just need to wait until dark O’clock to see the red LED’s
Used a couple of plastic panel clips to hide the holes at the front where the screws go into the roof to hold the shelf up.
3. Remap - booked
6. Trial fitting of a VW flip emblem reversing camera into a spare barn door(long term project!) - binned unless I swap the barn doors for a tailgate.
7. Retro retrims for the A pillars - now changed to hydro dipping
9. Dukes of Hazard air horns (so ‘70’s)
14. Centre console
15. Touran dash - binned, going to buy a centre fitting holder with cover
16. Touran/Tiguan instrument cluster
18. Dye the cab headlining
19. Lowering kit - on order
21. Passat interior light - change of plan, trial fitting one from a golf+ complete
22. New exhaust minus the back box though - arrived, waiting to install
23. Replacement colour coded rear bumper
24. Diesel filter cover
26. 12 button MFSW
