Fair play @Papa Bear some awesome work you have done there. Love the led idea but not something I think I'd attempt. Will probably break everything

Image don't blame you there mate. Local scrappy by me ask stupid prices for parts. How many LED's did you change in the end minus the stereo

@Dickyboy82, 64 individual LEDs then festoon LED bulbs for interior lights and blue LED strip lights for footwell and under seats. RGB LED strip lights for the headlining. Plus one more LED in the dash Caddy :D

You’re not filling it with blue LEDs by any chance are you?
Hope the house move went well mate, they say it’s one of the most stressful things you do.

Move was stressful, had to put everything in storage for 2 days. Spent most of Christmas moving it out again.
Radiators replaced, house is warm now.
Loft half insulated and boarded.
Started on clearing the 120ft by 40ft garden of solid brambles.
Everything needs decorating and flooring.
Then can make off road parking and wood working workshop in the garden.
Should be done by 2023

RGB LEDs under wall cabinets and base units in the kitchen :D
RGB bulbs in most of the house :D
Kitchen arrives on the 23rd of Feb. Need to strip old one and do quite a bit before it arrives including new floor.

You’ve definitely got your work cut out there mate. My Dad and I renovated the house I’m in now. It was hard going, and again stressful at times. Worth it now though!

Done a couple before but was younger and not a cripple. Family will help when they are able to.
Was only way to get a house we liked in a nice area. And when done it will definitely feel ours.

I always said I’d never do another one, but we intend to emigrate one day and that’ll probably be a project!
Worst house in the best area as they say! Least you can put your own stamp on it and make it yours.

Caddy off the road, DSG failure and bonnet cable broken.
The dreaded bonnet cable joining thingy had been replaced previously by a piece of wire. I’d thought it looked substantial and would last. I was wrong!
Dub works have been out and opened the bonnet as I was unable to get underneath and get my arm up high enough. Fat arms and limited mobility.
Hopefully being picked up tomorrow to go to the gearbox wizards.
