Re: Hampshire Caddy
Just installed my new reversing camera, can’t remove my old one as number plate light holder is broken. Also bulb is blown and one of my new DRL’s has stopped working. Filaments look ok, swapped it from side to side but fault is bulb. Not good as only had 2 weeks and one was faulty when delivered. Recommended off here, if I can find the post I’ll be commenting

Re: Hampshire Caddy
Hi PB,
I had a numberplate light mounted camera before on a Skoda, but I found it a bit too far off centre !
I have fitted a boot switch camera that looks like an OEM one, but much cheaper.
Works nicely as a camera and I find the boot switch actually seems to have a nicer action than the original one !
This is the one I got

Good luck (lovin your mods)

Recommended on here and is much better
The number plate one is the one I need to remove but my old light holder is broken.

Yeah the number plate light ones are all wrong !
My one is the Boot handle integrated one now, and I like it.
Where did you mount your new one ?

Hi @Papa Bear,
where are you planning to put the secondary battery? Under the passenger seat?

Re: Hampshire Caddy
Snapshots from an Autoscan can be confusing, you're best posting everything.
From my reading of what you have posted, your PTC heater is showing as defective so basic settings/adaption is not possible.
This has been discussed on the forum, most times the fault is down to a dry joint.
The CAN gateway showing no communication with the radio is standard when you have a non VW radio fitted. Even with a CAN interface the gateway will recognise it's not a VW radio.
If the clutch fault has gone away, just hope it doesn't come back.

Re: Hampshire Caddy
Thanks @doc, didn’t want to post the whole lot filling up the forum.its strange that the heater is working but erroring. Will take it out before winter and check it, might remove the fuse for now to reduce risks..
Fingers crossed the clutch was just a one off in 2014
