Last of the trims coming off today to paint, ones round the sliding door windows are not as easy as thought.
Remove lower door panel, pull the lock rod down to allow the handle surround trim to be removed, remove 5 clips from the trim and remove. Seatbelt trims removed too.
Hoping for a delivery today so can finish the wiring for the lights. Switch panel should be here. First was from China ordered in March, went missing. Second from uk shipped twice apparently, never received. This one from uk with tracking, out for delivery today.
Marking up the light board fittings too.
Headlining in by the weekend, fingers crossed

Sod’s law says you’ll have a few spares once fitted. I’ve had some stuff ‘disappear’ in transit, and then turn up 2 weeks later 😂 of course after I’d ordered replacements 👍

Switch panel arrived and fitted, light board drilled, headlining added strengthening to the back so the light board doesn’t crush it when tight.
Hmm, I think I’m finally ready to put everything back together.... after a soak in the hot tub with a glass of red :D

So, headlining in, wires in place. Went to fit the light board and wire had come loose so had to hot glue it in place then went to fit the board and the bolts I had bought were too short, gutted.
Ordered new ones to come on Saturday from Amazon Prime. Silver not black but at least can install and sort later.

Ignore the finger prints and long silver bolts, need to cut the black ones to length and swap them over.

Looking good, real good! I’d forgotten you made the C2K board!

Black dye has now been added to my to do list

Can’t wait to see it lit up in the dark.

Thank you
Might have to take them down and replace the controller for the logo lights as it doesn’t work with the remote

Shame the grab straps aren’t dark grey but black looks so much better than the beige.
Ordering two more .
Dash cam working on the new wiring so mostly hidden and switched by the ignition.
New courtesy light bulbs installed.
Waiting for the replacement led strip controller to come.

When the rain stops I’ll continue on the bed woodwork
