As for being busy, I have to do jobs on days I’m physically able. I’ll probably regret it tomorrow :D

I really like what you’ve done so far mate. The blue LED conversion looks spot on.

Thank you
I’ve decided I can’t live with the stereo being red or green so I’m going to take that out for an led swap too

I bought a water damaged Golf R instrument cluster from a breakers just for the needles, much cheaper than buying a new set and it's not as though they wear.

That’s what I was hoping to do @doc. I’m still looking out for one on eBay and scrap yards

You probably won't find one listed on eBay as breakers don't expect anyone to want it.
I found a guy with a crash rolled mk7 R which he was stripping of parts. The interior was gone but the cluster was fogged up from the car being open to the elements so it came cheap cheap.

I agree mate, you definitely need blue lighting for your stereo now. It’ll look great when it’s all done. Hopefully you’ll find cheap needles too

My thoughts exactly @doc, I’ve been searching for cars breaking rather than specifically the cluster. Am in negotiations with someone at the moment.
