Side window leak

Post by neilmcl »

I'm getting a bit of water ingress on one of the rear side windows on our 2013 C20 WAV.

Is this a common problem and do you know the best way to fix it? It's not a huge amount, just a few drops if it rains for some time. I have checked and the window is fully locked down.

Did you manage to fix this? I've spotted a leak on my drivers sliding window.

Common problem with these sliding windows. The seals harden with age and stop doing there job. Do you need to use them regularly? If not then do what I have and seal them shut onto a run of clear silicone all around. ( all 4 beads after cleaning glass and rubber) They may still leak again as the rubber hardens further. I've had to do mine twice on my 2011 Maxi.
