Reliable auto trimmers needed

Post by Giddy » Mon Mar 23, 2020 4:31 pm

Hi guys, looking for some reputable auto trimmers to re-trim Touran armrest. Would be good if I could post to them...
So far I have got one quote for £200, but it seems a bit too much for a simple part like armrest. If you have used them before and have a good experience, give me a shout. Thanks.

Hi @Giddy
Don't know if these are any good to you ?
They are literally 10mins from me, and have a very good reputation in the VW Air Cooled scene, and do trims for the old MK1 caddy's, and a lot of T5's/T6's

I'm planning to get a new set of door cards of them for my 65 Beetle, but I know they do wotk for people all over the country
Cheers

That’s quite a lot for a small part . My first one cost around £60 and I got my front seats, door cards and armrest done for around £440 a couple of years ago

Not sure where your located but Optimus Trimmers in Rutherglen, Glasgow are first class. Folk on here had work done by them too. I’m sure you could post the lid cheap enough either way

Another for Optimus Automotive Trimmers Giddy. I posted mine up to him, got my armrest, handbrake and gear lever gaiter all done for less than you’ve been quoted, and believe me the quality is exceptional.
