What are you doing to stay busy?
Over the last few days since my work has been stopped (self employed) I’ve been trying to stay productive and keep busy to prevent me from going crazy. You may have seen on my build thread I’ve been working on bits for my van that I’ve not had time to do over the last few months. Tell us what you’ve done today to stay productive, doesn’t have to be Caddy related.

Re: What are you doing to stay busy?
So far everything's been caddy related!!! it's always the same, before all this wierdness started I would start doing something that I tell the Mrs will take a few hours, ends up taking all day. So I never actually finish most things I start, so I had a list a mile long of things I needed to finish, flying though them now! Washed and waxed, Fixed leaky back window, almost finished carpeting the rear, puddle light loom in the new mirrors, (With help from @r1lea,) split the last headlight to dechrome and LED, have to cut the puddle lights out today get them in......eBay hasn't known what's hit it!....then probably 2 weeks of bordem, Mrs is happy Disney+ is out today, so I'm staying welllll out of the way! What's everyone else plans?

As I’m not allowed outside as I’m on the 1.5 million at risk people. Think I will be decorating....yawn and clean and freshen up the garden. That’s 2 weeks what I do for the next 10 no idea yet.

Waiting for my weak management to make a decision to send us home & then loads of caddy goodies to work on. Van-x rear window curtains, door puddle lights, purple Led courtesy lights in rear ceiling, wheel spacers, refit number plate plinth( just painted) c/w led lamps & re-spray front splitter.

Have to work from home, so no laying offs... Might be required to go to the office at some point too.

@giddy it's only the van that's keeping my mind off the stress of not working, lucky I had a good few months of £ before all this started but it's not going to last forever, I'm a self employed tiler and all but one of my jobs have cancelled over the last week, it's not looking good atm!

Yeah, not ideal mate. I have couple of friends who run their own businesses and have to shut down now. Still not clear about any support from government for them.

There's a few reports going round that self-employed people are eligible for £94 a week or something stupid like that. Nothing confirm yet though, so half a day's wages a week.. that's going to go far

I’m doing nothing van related I’m afraid, apart from possibly a wash.
Jobs I have lined up:-
Was mine and my wife’s motorbike.
Do a twin headlight conversion on my other motorbike.
Gardening.
Knocking hell out of my drums.
Annoying the wife.
Spending lots of time on here.
Drinking.
I hope all you lads who are self employed get by. Must be bloody awful.

Re: What are you doing to stay busy?
Today I decided that my job would be to repair a wheel that I touched on a width restriction kerb back in November. I’ve not had the time or inclination to do it through the winter so this seems like the perfect time to get it done.
First a wash down with an iron fall out remover to get it thoroughly clean
The damage was on the edges of 2 spokes and I wanted to keep this repair as small as possible rather than paint the whole rim.
Sand the damage withP180
Primed with UV primer which I didn’t even need to use my lamp to dry as the sun did it in under a minute
Foam edge tape applied and ready to paint
Black base and 2 coats of clear
Foam edge tape removed and edges faded out
Used my little 1” polisher to get into the areas where a big pad won’t fit.
Ate a bacon sandwich
Fitted back on the van
