Reading loads about my new Caddy and ideas for it. Trawling through websites without knowing what I’m looking at! Proper newbie

What are you doing to stay busy?

I’ve re done the twin headlight conversion on one of my bikes, a 2001 600 Fazer. I’d previously had a set of adapted headlight bulbs with a link wire, but one of the bulbs failed. I couldn’t complain, I’d had them 10 years. This was a mod I picked up from an owners forum.
I made a wire and took that from an unused pin on the headlight connector block to the h4 bulb holder. This allows the headlight to come on, and the full beam to work as normal. The other headlight has a h1 in it.

Pat. Mushrooms? No! Food of Satan, along with tomatoes (I like ketchup strangely) and yep, you guessed it, marmite!

Today I walked the dog then set about fitting the splitter to my new front bumper. I decided to use rivnuts instead of nuts and bolts because this splitter will inevitably get smashed at some stage and attaching it via rivnuts will mean I can remove it from the bumper without taking the entire bumper off the van. So basically it’s a quick fit splitter Image

This is now my new favourite tool. Going forward, everything that can be rivnutted........will be rivnutted Image

Test fitted the bed frame.
Wanted to cut out the window covers but haven’t got any cardboard here to make templates. Will get some from our “other house” when I collect the wiring that has been delivered.

Gave the inside of the van a deep clean today, there's been a McDonald's chip stick down the side of the driver's seat ever since I got the van, been driving me mad, and could never reach it with the hoover, so seats came out today, and what a state it was down there, now all squeaky clean Image
Even gave the engine bay a clean, I'm really starting to feel the boredem now......
