Regardless of the amount of pad material left, if they don't match the discs just as they were removed the braking efficiency will be terrible for ages.

Hello community, I come from Germany and have registered here to possibly get a few answers to a few questions. If I understand correctly, did you install the 310mm brake in your caddy, just by swapping the saddle carrier? I would I would also like to upgrade my rear brake. It's a Caddy Maxi with 2.0TDI and 140PS. Ex-works it already has the 312mm front and rear brakes only 256mm. Thank you for an answer and I apologize for the bad English, I am writing through the Google Translater.

Re: Mk5 Gti brakes
Hello, I tried to install the 310 brakes at the weekend. I only tried other caliper carriers, discs and pads. I found that this didn't fit. Even if I ordered the right calipers, the brake hoses and handbrake cables would either the spring or the wheel. Now send the parts back and take care of the MK4 rear bumper.
