Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 2009 Maxi life, 1.6 petrol thats rolled about 105k km so far. Im a Kiwi living in Sweden and my intention with the car is to use for a daily children shuttle and weekend camper in the summer. Ive removed the back seats so its now a five seater with a large boot.

Im interested in tips, links and any feedback for camping set ups. I plan to build a camping box/bed/kitchen in the boot asap.
Im considering a roof top tent and awning. Everything will be as lightweight as possible and temporary so it can be removed in the winter.

Power supply is on my mind as I think ill eventually look at a small fridge. Power, fridge set up tips very welcome.

I look forward to chatting soon & thanks for including me.

Cheers,
Oldspice.

Welcome
I have a maxi life and am doing similar, bed is part built but due to lock down restricting my workshop access it is on hold so sorting lots of other bits (when allowed, in between decorating)

@pomsss anything in particular you are looking at doing?
I’ve done more work but not much more on the bed part doing more this weekend. Worth looking at others on here though.

Best Fridge/Freezer boxes (just my experience)
Waeco Dometic CF/CDF 26 and 35/36
Proper compressor units that work.
There are also smaller and larger models.
