Hi it is the 1.0 tsi, it is a great little engine not fast but it just depends what you need it for.
I will use it for my new business which will only be local trips so don't need a diesel and just worryed about the clamp down on diesel these days.
If you just do short little trips it is great have to look really hard as these are very rare and don't come up very often

Cracking looking van mate looks brand new :D
Did you make a decision on the bumper yet? I’ve just bought mine this week and got the dealer to colour code the original bumpers for me and they look the part. I’ve read there’s a lot of work involved welding the golf bumper to make it suit the caddy as it’s not a straight swap.

Didnt even realise they did a 1.0 in the caddy, yeah bet that is great for around town but bet it screams on a motorway.

yeah is a strange time but think it will be a few years yet before they do anything massive with fuel changes.

whats you other plans for this?

Yea they do a 1.0 tsi and the 1.2 funny the 1.0 has more power than the 1.2 i think like 20 more bhp.
I have only used it on short trips so far not had the chance to go out much.
Plans i think will be colour code the bumpers, wheels and maybe coilovers when funds are abit more free
How are you finding your new caddy?

Yeah I’m loving it mate fair play. 3 hour drive yesterday to bring back to dealer for a few touch ups we’d agreed on and then test it. Very economical i was pleasantly surprised. Once the touch ups are done now il be ready to put a bit more into her. I’ve got a mk5 golf gttdi now sat on the drive so hopefully transfer/salvage a few bits from that to start.
