Middle Interior Bulb

Post by Roguedata »

Came to change the cabin interior bulbs today to leds and noticed the middle festoon bulb isn’t coming on when using the switch or opening the doors, I’m guessing this isn’t normal? The smaller bulbs either side are both working - could it be a fuse issue?

Cheers

Thanks for reply guys, yeh I tried that but tbh the halogen bulb wasn’t working before that. Does anyone know where the interior light fuses are on a 17 plate caddy? Or even the fuse box diagram as I can’t find it for a 2017 model year vehicle anywhere...

All the bulbs inside the light are connected to the same circuit. If one work, all should work. You better check whats happening inside the light, perhaps it's just a matter if poor contact, as lots of press-fit contacts in there.
By the way, decent LED bulbs are not polarity dependant.

Try disconnecting the battery in case the BCM is in a muddle, it's been known to happen.
