Quick one......where are they located in a Mk4, passenger footwell? Also, which are best (if any)?

Yes, passenger footwell mate. You’ll see a cover underneath the dash, just take it off and pull it out.
May as well get a genuine VW one, they’re not expensive.

On the topic of pollen filters what's the difference between the carbon ones and normal ones aside from the price any one know at all guys 🙂
