Any1 looking for a cheap way into the new caddys?

Post by vanworx »

Have been offered a handful of 2004 high mileage 1.9tdi Caddys in Raven Blue. No electric windows or Aircon that I know of. No pics. Just been tapped up by a main dealer who will have them later this week. They are trade sale, well looked after and apparently very clean and tidy. They have full historys and have 200k-250k on each of them. Serious enquiries only please and pics probably not possible. However we can get accurate descriptions of each vehicle at the end of the week. First come first served. Call us on 01305 775866. They will be being sold for £2500-£3000 plus vat - bargain.

One thing I was always told was that Caddys will do silly high milage without any bother.
I know of one with 210,000miles and all it's had is normal servicing and timing done, nothing replaced or broken/loose.

The Caddy is the new Hi-Lux, time for a top gear style test. :P

A vehicle which has done that sort of mileage on Irish roads would be destined for the scrap yard.
It makes you wonder how many cars are clocked back and end up over here.

I've just got rid of my 2002 Golf TDI150 that has a version of the 1.9TDI that we have in the Caddy

It had 244,000 miles and went as well as the day it was new. Apart from a clutch and other general wear and tear, it was fault free. Still on its same turbo too.
