Guys I need your help! The amount of VW headsets on the market is proper confusing and annoying me. I’ve currently got an android aftermarket headset with Dab/reverse camera in my 2011 X-BG caddy; it’s even got IPTV installed.
It’s served it’s time and it’s now heading to retirement after 3 years.
I’ve spent the past 3 weeks looking for a replacement and I’m about to give up.
Ideally Im looking for a genuine VW model that’s plug and play, has DAB, Bluetooth and reverse cameras.

I see the RCD330 recommended a lot? Seems to be around the £200 mark

Re: So confused/recommendations with VW headunits
I have a VW Multi Media MIB2 unit, in order for me to get the reverse camera to work on it I need to buy a video interface which is 319 euro, so its not plug and play. I am researching this myself, just wanted to let you know that the VW ones may not be as plug/ play as you think.
If I had bought an Android unit I understand i would not need this video interface.

I’ve bought a discovery media unit from Lithuania . Found someone who can remove CP and unlock features for £120 so hopefully sorted.

Re: So confused/recommendations with VW headunits
I got a price of 650 Euro for all the bits needed for the reverse camera and to install it, pretty much the same price I paid for the head unit. I thought it was as simple as buying the camera plunging it into the head unit but its never that simple.
