Remove rear bumper from crash bar?

Hi all, so I have removed the rear bumper(and crash bar) Before but was wondering is it possible to remove just the actual bumper leaving the crash bar on the van?
Mines a early 2015 reg,
As putting it back on with crashbar attached it a bit of a pain on your own trying to line everything up right without damaging anything.
I'd assume the screws would be torx if it is possible, and can anyone confirm they are the same size as the screws in the arches? Cheers
