Oooh, that's a magneti marelli cluster, I've not seen one of those. I'm so used to seeing the VDO.
Hardly worth the headache with those as they are only midline. Might as well fit the highline while you're doing it.

ive got carprog here ,is it able to do everything needed to swap over clusters or do i also need something like fvdi to complete the install...

I've no idea, I've never used CarProg.
Guess it won't hurt to try it.

ho Doc what is the procedure to swapping over from red to white,ive got all the info i need on my red cluster through vag can commander ,and ecu info through mpps,i was able to read eeprom chip 24c32 on new golf 6 cluster,what else do i need to do to the mk6 cluster to get it working in my caddy ,im finding it difficult to find any proper info on the procedure,thanks...

Which abs unit U have? Ate mk60, or mk60ec1? Ec1 have crypto longcoding include vin and brake modification.
I have experience, when was use facelift speedo from octavia 2 to prefl car with mk60 abs. Abs lights can't off. When U have ec1 light off. But I use VDO speedo.
