I'm trying to understand the internal electronics of the various central locking units on the Caddy.
I've attached 2 screen shots of central locking units from Elsa. One from the rear door and one from the sliding door.
Can anyone explain the difference in the internal switches?
Why does one have a dashed line to the motor? What does it mean?
What type of switch is symbolised by the double lined arrow with a circle?
Any help is much appreciated!

The bottom one looks like a relay, the motor pulls the bar ( dashed line) to close the 2 circuits.
Not sure about the top one, as it looks similar

Ahhh yes, good shout!
The top one is confusing me more though. The same symbol is use for the contact switches in the door catch.

Re: ElsaWin wiring diagram symbols
I don't think it would be as the contact switch uses the same symbol and there's no relay in the contact switches.

If you could tell what they are, it might be obvious, but the top one is mechanically operated switch.
Bottom one is motor operated switch.
