bibbycaddy hi buddy, they are powerfly ones from amazon. I went for the more robust yellow ones verses the slightly smaller red ones. Been using them most days for the past month, holding up really well!

Hi Chris can I ask what did you use to secure the mounts back when they are not being used ?

Hi, I’ve just fitted this from a chap on eBay. 3D printed and really sturdy. Available in many colours and fork fitmentsImage

Take a look https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224123401583

Splinter hi buddy, apologies, missed your post

I use a couple of small d rings on a plate and 2 shortened bungees, like below

The D rings and bungees were from a local hardware shop, toolstation.

The D ring is bolted through the thin ply with large washers behind to spread the load.

I can stagger two bikes when I have my bed in either up front or at the back of the van using the mounts..ImageImage
I'm really liking what you've done here, who is the bed fixed in? does it use the same rails as the fork mounts?

@chris-a-owen I used pronged T nuts to bolt the bed to the floor as it splits in half and makes it a lot easier to remove using winged bolts.

I quite like the idea and practicality of a removable fork mount. I’d love a fully recessed mounting system, but realistically I think a removable will be easier to fit and have the best of both worlds.

I also want to be able to sleep in the van too, so it needs to as minimalist as possible!

I used this Fork mount. Found the company on Facebook. I just strap the board in when I need it. (Cream carpet has since been changed ImageImage)

That looks just the job. I wonder if there’s a 3D model to print your own somewhere, hmmm
