Door with electric window in a manual van

Post by shameus »

Hello,

Quick one for you lads. A mate needs to swap out his door and has been offered a door & door card with electric windows but his van has wind up windows originally. Is this a direct fit or is there coding or wiring involved?

Cheers!!

Will need the power wire added to make the window motor work.

Runs from the cabin fuse panel to the door a pillar socket.
Tommyzooom makes looms for electric window retrofit with the correct ends on if you need.

Depending on year of van and the door the a pillar plug may also be different

Thanks for the heads up Neil, it's a 2005 door into a 2006, any idea if they would be the same?

Should be good then. I found out the hard way

The power lead from a pillar to fuse box is dead easy though
