Caddy Maxi lite 2019 - fixing a mosquito net in rear under tailgate

Post by Botswanna »

Hello.
I bought a mosquito net which is meant for the caddy ie all the dims are correct. I having problems fixing it. I have tried using magnetic strips, but it comes off when you knock it. I have also tried glue at the top whilst keeping the magnets at the side, still no good. Any recommendations or which glue to use? Or using velcro? Ideally I would like to keep it rolled up from top when not in use. I have noticed that there are plastic plugs in both the fabric and in the plastic paneling at the rear. What are these meant for? I was wondering if these could be used, but I am not sure.

Thanks

Matt

Get some bigger neodymium magnets. They are super powerful

Thanks Papa. I will have a look. I would still have to find away to attach the magnets to the fabric ceiling and plastic panelling. The magnets I have on there now, the adhesive is not good.
Will defo look at neodymium

Thanks again.

To the fabrics, could sew a little pocket on or use 2 magnets to sandwich it.
To the plastic, if the magnets are strong enough, superglue them behind.
