Hi guys,
Don’t think I can access all the forums yet but I’ve went to strip the front seat out to hoover behind it and found the carpet wet, then found this big old hole in the floor. Should there be a bung in there?

Re: Floor bungs?
Short answer, yes!
Looks like someone has poked out the middle or the rubber has deteriorated over time

Re: Floor bungs?
ACalamita that’s good news! Looks like it’s been gone for a while, rain water and crap getting in and making everything dirty. Made its way up the footwell and soaked the matting under the foot mat too. Doesn’t look to have caused any rust or other damage which is ideal.
Cleaned and tidied it all but not going to drive it in the wet till I’ve filled them.
Anyone any part numbers for these? Turns out drivers side is also missing one.
Thanks again guys!

Re: Floor bungs?
My rear passenger was full of water the day after I picked up mine (previous owner emptied the water tank from the back into the footwell it seemed!) and I had to fully dry out the underlay/matting that's underneath the rubber carpet.
I popped the rear bung out to drain the majority of the water!
It was well and truly soaked. Gave it a good "gravity" drain outside then it spent a few days in the house next to a radiator.
It will eventually dry out though.
